Jungle Air is our very own same-day, evening delivery service, available 7 days a week across Wellington and Christchurch. It’s a premium upgrade that will appear at checkout if your order and address are eligible.

Our drivers deliver to eligible addresses between 4pm and 9:30pm, and you can follow their journey with live tracking. Once your driver starts your delivery, you’ll receive an SMS tracking link straight to your mobile.
To access tracking updates, a New Zealand mobile number will be requested at checkout.
Please Note: Jungle Air isn’t available for PO Boxes, Parcel Collect, or closed business addresses. If your property has restricted access, please include clear delivery instructions.

How much does it cost?
Jungle Air is $17.90 per parcel, or just $11.95 for Primates!
When do I have to order?
To get your order delivered the same day, make sure you place and pay for it before 10:30am.
The times provided below are our typical timeframes, but may be subject to change.
When will my Jungle Air order be shipped out?
Orders usually leave our warehouse around 11:30am, and arrive in Wellington or Christchurch at 4pm. From there, they go out with a local driver for evening delivery.
When will my Jungle Air order be delivered?
If your order was placed before 10:30am, it’ll be delivered the same day between 4pm - 9:30pm.
If your order was placed after 10:30am, it’ll be shipped the next day and delivered between 4pm - 9:30pm.
You’ll see your delivery day confirmed during checkout and in your order confirmation email. Once your driver has your order, you’ll receive live tracking information and an estimated delivery window via SMS to your NZ mobile number.
How can I confirm if my address is eligible?
We have a helpful feature on our Jungle Air Page which lets you check if your address is eligible for Jungle Air. You can check your postcode here.
Are all in-stock products eligible?
Only in-stock items sold and shipped directly by Mighty Ape are eligible for Jungle Air.
Not eligible:
- Dangerous goods (e.g. paint and perfume), with the exception of certain lithium battery items
- Pre-orders, out-of-stock items, and products sourced from suppliers
- Large or bulky items that may not be suitable for same-day delivery
The Jungle Air option will appear at checkout for items that are eligible only.
Dogs on Property
It is important to protect our drivers' safety while also ensuring your parcel is delivered successfully. As such, we kindly ask that you please secure any loose dogs on your property before our drivers are due to arrive.
