Picking Up An Order
Pick-Up Window: Orders can be collected on the day of purchase or the next opening day for the store. Orders are held for 7 days before they are cancelled and refunded if not collected.
ID Verification: We reserve the right to require a physical Photo ID check during the in-person application and at the point of pick-up to ensure the order matches the account holder. The name on the Photo ID provided must match both the account name and the order billing name.
Fulfillment Limits: The standard Mighty Ape Pick-Up counter cannot fulfill Hobbies Store orders outside of the Hobbies Store's operating hours. All orders must be collected from the Hobbies Store within the advertised hours on the date of purchase.
Returns & Refunds Policy
This policy is adapted from the Pokémon Center New Zealand standards to ensure the integrity of hobby and collectible goods.
All TCG products and digital products are final sale items. This means we cannot provide returns or refunds on these items except for cases of manufacturing defect.
The Mighty Ape Hobbies Store does offer a "Change of Mind" return policy, which requires all items to be returned within 14 days and be new, unused and in their original sealed packaging with any tags still attached. Any items opened and not sealed, or outside of the 14 day window are ineligible for this "Change of Mind" return option.
If an item is believed to be faulty, it will be inspected under the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act. Where a failure is major and cannot be remedied, a refund or replacement will be provided.
