Why the product is recalled:
The product does not comply with the mandatory safety standards for child restraints in motor vehicles.
Hazard:
Using a non-compliant adjuster on a child's seat belt can lead to improper positioning and securing of the restraint system. In a crash, this may cause the child to be improperly restrained, significantly increasing the risk of serious injury or death.
Consumers should:
1. Stop using the product immediately & remove it from the vehicle
2. Safely dispose of the item: to prevent any further use, please cut the seatbelt adjuster or otherwise make it unusable before disposing of it.
3. Microway will assist in issuing a refund to your original payment method.
