On occasion, emails sent from us may end up in your Spam or Junk folders instead of your inbox. If you are waiting to hear from us about an order, please check these folders to make sure you haven't missed any updates.
If this issue happens frequently, we recommend that you add us as a contact to your email address so that our emails make it to you okay.
If emails sent to your email address bounces back to Mighty Ape more than 10 times within 3 months, we will stop attempting to send you emails.
A notice will be displayed to you at the top of our site when you are logged in so that you can rectify the issue.
Some common reasons for email bouncing include:
Invalid email address
Email will bounce back if you misspell your email address or if your address contains a typo. For example “…@extra.co.nz” vs. “…@xtra.co.nz” or “…@gmail.co.nz” vs. “…@gmail.com”
Inbox exceeded maximum size
Some email providers will bounce email back to the sender if your inbox has exceeded its maximum size. You can rectify this by simply deleting old messages. We recommend paying special attention to emails that contain large attachments that may be significantly contributing to the size of your inbox.
Email address no longer exists
If you created a Mighty Ape account with an email address that no longer exists you will need to provide us with a new email address. For example, you may have used an email address from a previous employer and the address has been decommissioned.
