In the rare event that something goes wrong with a Marketplace sale there are steps you can take to receive a satisfactory resolution.
Buyer fails to make payment
Buyers pay Mighty Ape when an item sells and can pay using any of our regular payment methods such as credit card, Internet Banking or PayPal. The buyer has 14 days to make payment for your item. If the buyer fails to make payment, the order will be cancelled and you have the opportunity to relist your item for sale.
Seller fails to ship the item
If the seller fails to ship the item within 7 days of making your payment you will be presented with the option to cancel your order and receive a full refund to your Mighty Ape account.
The Seller shipped the item but it has not been delivered
If the seller has indicated that your item has shipped but it has not been delivered to your delivery address you will need to contact the seller directly and they will need to follow up with the courier service.
If your item does not arrive within 5 days you will be presented with the option to open a dispute and Mighty Ape staff will investigate the transaction. If you have requested delivery by “Tracked Courier” you will likely be covered under the Safety Guarantee and will receive a full refund.
Product is not as described
If the product that you receive is not as described you may raise a marketplace dispute. Our team will investigate and decide on the best course of action.
If the dispute period has passed we advise the customer to contact the seller directly.
I've changed my mind and wish to return my Marketplace purchase
Marketplace sellers are not obligated to accept change-of-mind returns. Change of mind returns are at the discretion of the Marketplace Seller. We advise customers to contact the seller directly for any change of mind returns.
