Why is Mighty Ape making changes to Trade Accounts?
Mighty Ape is transitioning to a new sales platform to enhance your overall experience with better features, services, and an expanded product range. However, this upgrade requires adjustments to how we manage Trade Accounts.
What are the key changes I need to know about?
- Payment Process: Starting August 31, 2024, all orders must be paid for at the time of placement. We will no longer accept payments on invoice.
- Payment Methods: You can now pay using online EFTPOS, credit card, or debit card. For more information on these payment methods, please visit our Payment Methods Help Centre.
- Discounts & Free Shipping: Your discount structure remains the same. However, starting mid-October, discounts and shipping costs will be credited to your account after an order is paid for, and this credit can be used on your next order.
Will I still receive free delivery on trade orders?
Yes, free delivery on all trade orders will continue. However, from mid-October, the cost of shipping will be credited to your account after you have paid for your order, and this credit can be used for future purchases.
Will my current discount structure change?
If you currently receive product discounts, your existing discount structure will remain the same. The only change is that, starting mid-October, discounts will be applied as a credit to your account after the order is paid for, which can be used for your next purchase.
When do these changes take effect?
- August 30, 2024: This is the last day to place an on-account order.
- August 31, 2024: From this date forward, all orders must be paid for at the time of placement.
- Mid-October 2024: Discounts and free shipping costs will start being credited to your account after orders are paid for.
What remains the same?
You will continue to enjoy:
- Free delivery on all trade orders.
- Preferential discounts, with the timing adjustment mentioned above.
